I've been good, thank yoo very much^ ^ Just working hard to get good grades at the end of the year while stopping certain friends from going slightly insane. Just normal teen stuff I suppose. How about yoo?^ ^

I'm doing some illustrations for a guy in the states writing a youth novel series. I'm also doing a graphic novel series myself, there are going to be 6 books in the series. It has kind of like an Alice in Wonderland kind of feel to it. All of the creatures in my imagination folder are going to play a part in it somehow. Most of them already have. ^_^

Oh wow! Good for yoo, that's great^ ^. What's the series about?
And that sounds really cool too, i'll definetly have a look out for them. The Diplock looks particularly Wonderlandy. Well, the Disney Wonderland. The real Wonderland is slightly more sinister, so all you're other works fit really well. I particularly like Gizmo and Grone. It should turn out really well, your artwork does^ ^

Thank you. It's about a 17 year old kid who ends up finding himself in this strange world. Throught the story he is trying to find out where he is and how to escape this place. Gradually as the story goes on more is revealed about his background as it is relevant to the situations he encounters. It starts off with the main character in a wheelchair. After the first chapter is over he finds himself in this world standing on his own two legs.

Wow, that sounds like it'll be really good. I will definetly have to try and read it once it's out. Am I allowed the title, or is that a secret?^ ^
But, more importantly for you, it also sound like it'll be good for doing illistrations to. Something slightly peculiar and important. What sort of work are you doing for it?

Sorry, my mistake. I mean what types of pcitures are you doing? The context, the method, the atmosphere, things like that.

The Illustration type will be primarily manga style. The realm the main character finds himself in has a very dark, dreary atmosphere. The moods of the creatures will not reflect the atmosphere of the world itself, the reason for this will be revealed in the second last chapter.

Why thank you very much! I like your stuff. The demon ninja is my favorite. I'm giving on line lessons for art if you're interested in expanding on landscapes.

I will send you a video lesion twice a week. At the end of the week I'll have you draw a picture using the techniques and values I discussed in the video. Then I'll do a video critiquing your picture, drawing over it in order to show and better explain certian techniques and tips. It's 80$ a month, but you'll be learning some in depth stuff about textures, lighting and values using colour and shading. If it seems to expensive, you could try it out for free for the first 2 week (We'll go over a lot in those 2 weeks). I'm also flexible as far as what we cover as well. If you want to start with landscapes, we'll be going over what's important to put in and leave out aswell as the values in the foreground vs the values in the background. You'll be able to draw things like this picture in an hour. This one only took me about 45 minutes. If you'd like to talk about it in person, my skype name is muju pittyputty.
