i would avoid joomla, go to milw0rm.com and you can see all the exploits for their services.

There are no secure on-line systems (event commercial)!
Most vulnerabilities in Joomla are not core bugs. Those are mostly extensions so if you use any community extension be sure it is safe.
If You has no experience in Joomla!, don't write such things.

really, it takes you more then a year to reply and that's the best you have?
*sigh* anyway, i have experience in joomla, and at this point i have stopped using their services for the very reason that they make for an easy target for 0day hacks / exploits. at some point i may return to their services but at this point its still not safe IMO.

I saw this comment today not a year ago.
Every CMS has vulnerabilities. Look at Joomla exploits and You will see that there are only few core bugs and dozens of bugs in community extensions. It is not that Joomla! is insecure, it is insecure in wrong hands (as every on-line application). There are no secure CMS system out there!
