Last year I worked on a series of gouache paintings of all the current Splatoon Amiibo characters, meant for an Amiibo card project I had planned. It never ended up finished, but I still wanted to upload the art I had created for it. Most of the characters are here!
These renders are the scanned versions that I carefully and painfully separated into PNGs with transparent backgrounds, so they could be added to the digital card designs.
The original art was done using Windsor & Newton brand gouache on watercolour paper.
