An older pic I took at a demonstration once... Just dropped into my hands while cleaning out my pics...
I don't think it needs much explanation, the symbolism is quite straight forward...

The fronts exist, no one is willing to budge or try to understand... It has alway been like this, it will always be like this... Sad but true...

This was ages ago at a student demonstration wenn they introduced tution fees in Austria... The situation was tense, the cops had everyone rounded up for an hour before they let everyone go in small groups... I usually go to a lot of demonstrations and take pictures, so the cops tend to know me and leave me alone, good contacts to the press also help...

It was a demonstration against the introduction of student fees in Austria if I remember correctly, or it was one against our crappy governement... Nor really sure anymore, we had quite a lot minfestations in the recent past here in Austria...

Great capture, very interesting idea and a fantastic realization besides, this red tone in the background seems in a special way very powerfull, it gives me the impression that it stops das Aufeinandertreffen bzw. den Konflikt der beiden Gruppen, aber kurz gesagt, wirklich hammer!
