We're lucky, lucky fans in that we are privy to so much amazing interaction and feedback with the wonderful folks who work on My Little Pony- Friendship is Magic. Lauren Faust, Jayson Thiessen, Daniel Ingram. I can't think of many other fandoms that have such close connections and feedback with the talented people who craft our beloved obsession.But of all the wonderful artists, musicians, actors, and staff behind My Little Pony, the lovely and talented is something special. She's a fun and huge-hearted lady as well as a truly gifted artist.
Thursday May 24 is her birthday and despite about a thousand pressing obligations, I wanted to make sure and send her something. She's been far too kind in commenting on my silly art and even sillier tweets and has been a constant source of inspiration. Happy Birthday, Sibsy! I hope your reserves of fun and joy get filled to bursting today! You really are the best!
Edit- Obviously I TOTALLY knew Sibsy's birthday is tomorrow and not today! Uh...and anyone who says otherwise is obviously addicted to mind-altering substances and a robot communist sympathizer. Yeah!

That's a fair quesiton, and the answer is...well, I don't know.
Sibsy is a unique case in that A: She and her artwork are part of various social networks (Twitter, Deviant Art) But more than that, she's been extremely interactive with pony fans and has been incredibly sweet as to reach out to many of us. I think that combination makes folks really want to give back and show her some love on her birthday.
Will this happen with other members of the cast and crew? It's very likely, but it largely depends on how approachable and publicly receptive and available that person is.
For my part, I am reticent to "bother" or force my crazy fandom craziness upon someone who has largely shied away from the spotlight. Lauren Faust has been incredibly open to feedback with her fans, so I'd definitely be willing to make something for her birthday and share it publicly. James Wootton is an incredibly talented director, but he seems to largely stay out of this crazy little pony world. I would feel a bit weird going into total fangirl mode for his birthday and sending him fanart.
