I manage to catch an episode of this, featuring her shadow. I love the under-arching grand story that gets revealed little by little at the end of these adventures, ultimately culminating in the season finale. It's very refreshing and most cartoons in this day and age don't pull it off well or even use it at all. Nice rendition of Magica btw

What I don't understand is why her feathers were green when she had magic.

Theory goes she was using corruptible magic when she wielded that scepter of hers.
When it was destroyed (on Donald's think head!) the dark energies were released, and she reverted to normal.
(It's kinda like how in Star Wars, The Dark Side sometimes altered the physical appearance of it's practitioners.)

I really loved how they addressed it directly in the episode when one of the nephews asked her how her spell worked, she started on an elaborate explanation and then cut it off, "Why am I explaining this to you? It's just MAGIC."
As fans we love to theorize and make sense of everything but in reality a lot of the stuff was probably just for dramatic effect.

Skunks get hunks. This one may not be the most handsome chap around, but has a heart full of love for the pretty purple fabulous Frenchie that is Fifi. And it's amusing to see everyone's favourite evil duck sorceress taking flight as she gloats in her wealth and victory. Perfect choice to cast Catherine Tate, complimenting David Tennant as Scrooge. We all knew that Disney was doing something right with this reboot/remake, and it just keeps getting better.
Either that, or Magica and Fifi shop at the same store...Β Β They must've attended Hogwarts together, too.
