I think I may have commented on this in another venue before, but this is really striking. Not only do we now see Bashir with ridges, but it is very clear that this is not the naive, overly-enthusiastic version of the doctor that we saw early on in the show. His expression really does have the steadiness, almost "hardness" of the Cardassians we saw on DS9 and it is as if with this surgery, the change in Bashir's inner nature is now being expressed outwardly. Whether or not one is a slash fan, it is very easy to imagine that Garak would react to seeing the results of his "tutelage."
I would mention that the "spoon" seems a bit inverted, and not to have as much depth as the rest of the ridges, but overall, your choice of expression, pose, and the way the two characters play off each other--and also the smart choice to go greyscale on this--makes that a very minor point and the final result very compelling to look at.

Oh, WOW -- I never would have thought of this, but Julian actually looks pretty good as a Cardassian. And I'm guessing that my favorite tailor agrees. *grins* Great expression on Garak!

Very well done photo-manipulation, I absolutely love the details especially in the brow ridging and in Julian's chin. That is a priceless look on Garak's face it really adds to the piece as a whole. Great job.
