Just a quick test to see how popular something like this can get.It frustrates me to see many 'light balls' hit the homepage when there are hundreds of awesome Cinema 4D work that never get attention.
Cinema 4D is the software that was used to make this.

I think you're a few months too late on this one haha, it seems the more current page view stealing pokeball trend is to
Take one part pokeball+one part unrelated popular thing(lets say zelda), and BAM, you have a zelda pokeball apparently(plus19,000 page views)
Anyways, I agree about how frustrating it is with 3d art, but I think its to be expected it's not as popular as other categories, most people don't understand the work that goes into them because of lack of experience. I think its starting to get more popular though, similar to pixel arts latest popularity.

haha I made a pokeball following a tutorial when I first started off with C4D> I uploaded it onto here and here, within minutes people are like "wow!"
I just thought, "huh, well wasn't expecting that, I mean I followed a tutorial after all to get used to C4D when I was starting out" hahah
