Description
This is an airbrush painting of an eagle on a black t-shirt. The challenge was getting it to look right on a black surface. I think it turned out alright. Don't have the shirt anymore. I pretty much wore it out after years of putting it in the wash. At least I have a photo of it.The photo of the shirt isn't great, and the scan of the photo is even worse. This was taken pre-digital cameras, so not much I could do about it.

Love your work what type paint and airbrushes do you use ?

My current choice of airbrush is the Iwata HP-B and I use Createx paints. Β With the type of work I do, you really don't need anything else. Β The airbrush is so good, you get thick pencil lines with it, better than a paint brush sometimes. Β And the Createx paints last forever. Β I'm still using Createx paints I purchased over 15 years ago. Β I haven't even tried their new formula yet. Β Thanks for the comments.

The new illustration colors are great they are erasable and even blendable after they have dried with windex ,they can also easily be scratched through to reveal the under lying color , great when rendering hair or fur ! p.s. keep up the good work can't wait too see more .

Wow! I have never been able to do anything on a black background! This turned out amazing! It looks like a photograph to me! I love the details of the feathers. I mean it's like I'm staring right at an eagle!

Thanks a bunch. T-shirts don't last as long as canvas, but you can't wear the canvas...lol.
