Already a "Star", Lana Turner wearing Chanel, giving the public some much needed glamour after six long weary years....Following her discovery buying a Coke at a Hollywood drugstore, and early management by Zeppo Marx, Lana made a number of hugely popular films , notably starring opposite "The King"- Clark Gable.
They were labelled "The team that generates steam".
With "The postman always knocks twice" (1946) she established herself as a queen of "Noir".

Oh thank you... I so much appreciate that... yes I was trying to express the feeling of people in 1945 and how, although they were still enduring hardship, liked glamour
