I love how the eyes pop from the skin and how it matches the hair,beautiful. I like the hair and the wave of it. The color of the hair is eye catching. This piece is impossible to miss! I love how the ripples of the water reflect off her and look as if they are markings, you have done them with great detail. I love the color of the lips it matches the skin and eyes perfectly. I love the jelly fish to the side and how it glows. The great detail of the jellyfish's stingers and tentacles are amazing. I love the colors you used for the jellyfish. I like how the hair complements the head shape. I love the shadowing of the eyes. I love the shine of the hair. This piece does remind me of ariel the little disney princess. This is not her this is the other side of ariel. The real version. This piece is amazing.

We all remember Disney's "Little Mermaid," and that is exactly what I thought when reading the title of this piece, but what I saw was completely different from that innocent cartoon many of us grew up with.
The first thing that caught my attention were her eyes. It wasn't the color, or even the fact that she seemed to stare straight through the screen, that caught me off-guard. It was the amount of detail and strangely realistic design. You know it isn't real, but the way Pixie drew it can honestly make you second-guess yourself.
The next part is her skin. Blue is a hard color to make realistic when drawing, because it goes against what we see in everyday life. However, the scale across her skin, and the subtle change in color caused by the water around her... perfection. And not to mention her deadly lips, whose color enchants, as well as frightens.
And last, but most certainly not least, the jellyfish. Have you ever seen a jellyfish? If you have, I'm sure you can agree that Pixie's jellyfish here is simply mind-blowing in comparison. The soft, delicate curves of the jellyfish, the delicate flesh that is almost transparent, and that glow that seems to be from another world. It's beauty attracts me, but the changers it possesses scares me all the same.

I am not going to lie her eyes CREEP ME OUT they look like shes trying to look into your soul. Yellow eyes always creep me out something about them sends chills down my spine but anywho. THAT JELLYFISH looks so real I want to bounce on it like Dory from finding nemo. And as always your colors are not overpowering and hard to look at even the glows to make me blink 4874 times before I can look at them clearly which is always nice. And the patterns on her arms are very interesting i like them. Hope to see more from you ~Blue

This is simply amazing, nothing I can say can tell you how amazing that this picture is, you did so well, the colors are blended perfect, the style is amazing, the beauty that you captured just leaves me in awe! and that is not often done, everything is simly beautiful, you keep this up, this art work is ART SHOW worthy, this just awe! This still amazes me. I don't think I've seen something like this before, you have combined to themes in one "The Little Mermaid" and "avatar" (at least I think lol.) you have put so much work into this and I like how the skins markings shine and glisten. The Vision was a success, the Originality I'll give you props for, the Technique is something I haven't even seen yet until now, and the Impact is BOOOM SPLASH XD!!! Anyways you have shown a simply marvelous work and I feel like I'm watching a movie about alien mermaids LOLZ. My Friend even though my Grammar might be terrible, this masterpiece right here is simply beyond gorgeous and awesome. ^^

The first thing that drew me to this piece of art was the vibrant colors. There's the electric blue skin that shifts to shades of teal, the an almost purple colored face with hints of blue, the orange and yellow jellyfish fish that almost mirror the color or the mermaids per icing yellow eyes. Last but not leas she has long locks of crimson red hair.
Most mermaids depicted in fairytales are human-like only with fins but this piece puts a little bit of a darker twist on it. The mermaid may have the torso of the body but all else seems wildly different.
Her skin turning the blue and green has markings circular marking on it which could be like a tribal making. There might seem to be slight markings on her face under each.
The lips on the mermaid are quite mystery. It appears she has on a neon yellow lips Looking directly into her eyes isn't that bad. The Mermaid, Ariel, I later found out her name had powers. She sent out a way of calm over the entire boat. It was that was she was able to get free. I said nothing to the crew members. Ariel deserved her freedom, like I did mine.

I really love this one of yours. Your attension to detail is just amazing. The hair is beautiful with it's wispy and floating feel. Her skin looks beautiful with such small detail and such a unique look that makes her have a certain dark fantasy look but still gives it a beautiful and charming look.
The reflection from the light on the water was done very nicely and puts the pefect touch to the underwater look.
Another thing is her eyes and lips are amazingly beautiful and just pull you into the picture awe and brilliance. The jellyfish too looks so realistic and perfectly placed and makes the picture look even more beautiful.
Since this is a critque I'll say that the only thing I can say that could've been changed is maybe having her hair a bit more wispy to give it a good water flowing affect such as adding a few strands flowing on her face or parting from the bunch. This is absolutely stunning. What first drew me in was the color of the skin which looks beautiful. It actually looks like a color a mermaid would be. The eyes are also what drew me in. The eyes are bold and bright and very realistic, which I love. I think the addition of the jellyfish was fantastic. It's adds a nice glow to the picture. The hair is beautiful and I really like how it looks like most people's vision of Ariel. But my absolute favorite part overall, is the water shinning on her skin. You don't see the water but by those reflections, you can tell she is underwater. Beautiful work.
