This is the awesome lead vocalist from the Korean group Big Bang. He is Taeyang (real name Youngbae). He is also an amazing dancer. This is his latest track. [link]

As some of you may know I've been on hiatus for like 3 months I couldn't seem to draw anything good. Then I watched his mv and it just inspired me to draw him. I've been a fan of Big bang for 2 yrs. I hadn't really drawn them before, I had only done sketches. Now I can't get him out of my head. So I warn you there will be a FLOOD of Taeyang drawings coming! I love him!

I have never drawn leather before... I think... so I don't think the jacket is that great but I'll keep trying!

This is a really good likeness, considering that it's in a sort of fish eye angle. I love the shading on the hand most. It could pass as a picture, haha!

It is at that angle! The hardest thing was probably the lips... I wasn't satisfied in how they came out.

Actually, I hadn't noticed the lips until after zooming in when you pointed them out! Well the shadows seem a little misplaced but like I said, not that noticeable. I just noticed how smooth the contours on his neck are too. Great job on the blending.

Yea I get really frustrated when it doesn't come out the way I want it. After like a day or two I get over it cuz there's really nothing I can do except improve on the next one.
