hAA I'll get around to doodling something for the event, this was just a comic that I was drawing before it was announced...which, oddly, kind of fits into Xavier's backfire in a way...

OKAY a little Edward/Xavier tidbit/rant (as I do know that there are people who ship em’, and I feel I, as their humble god creator, should give my two cents).
Actually, in any alternate universe, Xavier would most likely be Edward’s soulmate. Even though Mr. Dark said girl or whatever, Edward is bi no matter how many times he denies it, and any good-looking male would fit the requirements as well.
Xavier has been around Edward for over a century now, and while started out as best friends/brothers, due to Xavier the one most actively experiencing and putting up with Edward’s unstable and unpredictable personality, he slowly grew to love him for, well, Edward himself. He also grew to care for him over the fact how Edward always was there to support the vaporeon and never leave him, which was extremely important to Xaiver as he has monophobia. They actually even, uh, have had intimate relations with each other a few times (it was heavily influenced by alcohol though, and maybe to an extent Xavier himself as he can hold his liquor much better than the shaymin) but both have tried to forget that in terms of their friendship and obvious reasons. Well, Edward anyway. Xavier still remembers it rather vividly, even if he shuts up about it.
However, it really is a one-sided romance, as Edward can never think of Xavier as anything beyond a little brother due to certain things that happened I should probably get around to doing a comic about. But he does have a contained crush on the vaporeon, even if he actively denies it.
If it wasn’t for Misha then yeah, Xavier and Edward would most likely be cannon, as, now that I think about it, it was what I was kind of hinting at from the beginning. But then he had to go falling head over heels for a vulpix, leaving Xavier behind. And truthfully this is a far more interesting deviation from my original plan, as Xavier is now going through withdrawals over the fact how Edward is leaving him, and it is really having a negative effect on his emotional state.
So yea, feel free to ship it all you want, it might had happened once upon a dream but Xavier is just going to have to find his own prince...er, princess.

I'm starting to notice a trend that about 90% of my male characters are bi or gay...uhhhh...

also yes both of their scarfs being the same color was on purpose. SYMBOLISM! //waves hands
