Name: Valdina
Nickname: Val (when younger), Baldie, Baldina (now)
Age: 18 (in this transformation)
Powers: Beauty/ Internal Sicknesses (healing fairy type)

Her Past, Present, and Future:

At the age 15, she received the news she was going to die at the age of 18, her last year of Alfea, on her graduation day. On her graduation day she collapses and is transported to the hospital in Magix. As she lies incredibly weak, the hospital is attacked and she uses her own healing power to save the other patients in the hospital. She then lies in a state of near death when she suddenly finds herself given an incredible boost of energy. The doctors quickly realize that the cancer has diminished and disappeared miraculously. They quickly find out that because of Baldina's powers for internal sicknesses, she had somehow reversed the effects of her cancer, mainly because somehow her powers had counter-attacked the cancer within her, reversing her cancer's state. Over the years she had somehow been subconsciously healing herself, but due to it being an internal disease, it had taken her massive amounts of energy to heal, causing her constant hospital visits and weakness, along with that she was at the level of Magic Winx, making it almost unnoticeable that she was healing herself. Somehow it had taken years to reverse and the doctors had never realized it because they had assumed it was still there, not realizing the cancer was very slowly healing. Because of this, she gains her Enchantix by saving everyone else in the hospital with her healing powers, and with her Enchantix, her healing powers intensifies, making her powerful enough to cure her own cancer. She then gets a tattoo of a pink ribbon on her wrist to commemorate her battle (which, unfortunately, is hidden underneath her gloves in this picture).

That's why she has hair here.

I'd like to make a point of saying that I didn't imagine this plot line for Baldina because I was ashamed of her being bald, nor do I regret it. I however, made this character because I wanted to create a character within the OC Winx Community that was a bit different. From what i'd visibly seen, most disabled characters within this community had long, flowing hair, OR short, flowing hair. They had flowing hair, making their styles still somewhat of the aesthetic.

I like Baldina being bald, though, and i'm proud I was able to create a character such as her . While I give her hair here, it's not because i'm ashamed of her being bald--it's because i'm not going to make her a character that suffers forever, but I refuse to end her with death. Thus, I make this a middle ground, and this hair means to me a new beginning for her.

And in case you're wondering, I don't want her to be bald again, because she deserves happiness--such as any other cancer patient out there. So this is the result.

11/5/16 Edit: I am actually considering her being bald again, but I want it to be a choice she makes, and not a choice she has no choice over as was before. I think it's part of her charm cx and I want to make Baldina's character's cancer a sense of pride, and not something she has to hide forever. She's a toughie. I love her. And I don't want her character to ever forget how strong she is.

This is not the last you will see of her, however In fact, i'd love to tie her into another OC's plot line someday.

And no-she will not be gaining Believix. She doesn't need it, because she is a elegant boss ass bitch c:

And let's be here, I'm gonna go crazy with this character. Baldina can literally pull off anything. She is a fairy of beauty, after all .
