Well at first it'd probably be something like Ranma 1/2 or Futaba-kun but Max wouldn't notice anything so he'd continue to search for the fairies. And once he found them he'd take out his gun, show his ID, and say "All right nobody move. I'm Max Karson Supernatural Detective." Scared the only thing the fairies could think to do is turn him into one of them, unable to leave and unable to turn himself back. Just one of the many possible endings to Max Karson's adventures.

Heard of Ramna 1/2 but never Futaba-kun to my memory. Wow, if I were a guy who walked in that forest I'd beat up the person who enchanted that forest for trying to change who I am and make them change me back. Although, the smartest thing to do would be to call good ol' Max Karson.

The forest was enchanted by fairies to protect their home deep inside the forest. Only the Pure of heart can pass through unchanged.
