This Otoni, aka 'Underligste' on Tumblr (she may be banned now however). She stopped posting pics like this a while back, but she still posts a few pictures of herself on Tumblr. I am not sure if this picture is real though, as she's fairly slim
in her other pictures.

I do not think that her body is ugly but people with this body have really badΒ state of health and this is not beautiful because something it hurts them a lot Sorry but pain is not nice.
I am really sad that on this planet people need to insult and hate others like you - anyway I wish you nice day .

Beautiful picture, it's nice to see people expressing their bodies online and being proud.
It's truly sad to read through the comments on this photo and see so much fat-shaming, with the excuse of 'I only care about her health!' Because we all know that's not true.Β
If you cared so much about people's health, you wouldn't focus solely on her weight. You would ask about blood pressure, and not simply judge her based on her weight. I'm sure these people who are complaining on this photo wouldn't go up to somebody skinny and immediately bombard them with questions on why they're so thin and how they should gain weight and excerise.Β
Stop using excuses to fat-shame. It's not okay.Β

Also I don't really understand fat people. Eat less, exercise more. Stop expecting people to treat you like a beauty queen just because you're lazy. Not gonna happen, get over it. You can't force anyone to be attractive to you.
Peace.

Somewhat strange coming from an artist...
While the media may label overweight individuals as 'lazy' that is far from the truth. Someone may have an office job, for an example. They probably are working 14-hour days if they're full time. They don't move around much, but that paperwork is hell to power through. Are they lazy because their job restricts physical activity, even outside of work?

Didn't mean to give you an essay but you get the point. I'm ignoring the whole 'don't post your fat pics on dA' because that's not what sparked my interest. I get that people are getting tired of this, but it is so fucking easy to NOT CLICK ON IT.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SickPuppyi In reply to Casey-The-Fruit-Cake [2015-05-26 11:39:37 +0000 UTC]

I agree with you completely, and yeah it's easy not to click on it. I wasn't blaming THIS one piece, but all of the fat tummy 'art' on dA. I didn't mean the office job, but more like the teenage crybabies who all they do when they get home is eat McDonalds. I can understand disorders or diseases. I don't know in other areas, but in mine society isn't so hard on fat people. But those girls expect everyone to magically find them attractive. Um, No.
Is there a block button on dA?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Casey-The-Fruit-Cake In reply to SickPuppyi [2015-05-26 12:39:15 +0000 UTC]

Disorders and diseases are the main reasons why people gain weight. Those 'crybabies' may have stress, which is most likely in teenagers in this day and age, which causes them to 'stress eat'. I know this because many of my friends go through it and I'm the one who has to help them with their low self-esteem.Β
People, not just teenage girls, put themselves out there as a way to make them feel as though the world envies what they have. In some cases that's true - certain guys and girls enjoy seeing these pictures. Here they're often used as references. This means that there is ALWAYS going to be stuff like this, whether you like it or not and I'm afraid you have to just suck it.

Also, the filters on this website aren't advanced enough for that. Just ignore it.

Not all fat people have a disorder omg while some TRULY are depressed etc. Β there are just too many people feeling sorry for themselves. They have to stop crying that people are attractive to normal-weighing girls and no to them. Besides, they sometimes use being fat to get attention. I have a friend who does just that, calls me in the middle of the night to tell me how she wants to kill herself because she's fat.
Tell me those aren't attention seekers.
And it IS possible to stop feeling sorry for yourself and lose weight, in fact, I know plenty of cases where fat girls realized the world isn't going to change for them and lost weight.
And take a look at this photo, it basically explains my point.

Casey-The-Fruit-Cake In reply to SickPuppyi [2015-05-26 16:06:00 +0000 UTC]

Okay... my first advice to you: it is extremely shallow of you to say that - calling you and telling you that she wants to fucking kill herself is a cry for help! Instead of judging people for one second of your life be less of a bitch and more understanding. Honestly, I don't get why people are saying they're 'attention seekers'. Maybe try helping instead of complaining for once.
Β
Secondly, yeah! I completely agree. You can lose weight. But put yourself in that situation - if you were overweight because of a medical condition or whatever the hell you want for an excuse, and someone pointed that out and was clearly judging you for it you'd want to cry. In fact, you might not even go outside because you're afraid of judgement. Now you can't exercise without paying money to beachbody or whatever.
It pisses me off when people don't assess the whole situation.

SickPuppyi In reply to Casey-The-Fruit-Cake [2015-05-26 16:36:11 +0000 UTC]

You don't know my friend. Do you really think all those posts on facebook 'I want to kill myself' are true? That the poster is in a deep depression and truly wants to kill themselves? Open your eyes! Most people who truly are depressed enough to want to kill themselves hide it anyway. What's going to happen when those teens get dumped? Or their job application is rejected? Or when they fail an important exam? Are they going to kill themselves?
Besides, I don't know about your country, but in mine, it's a whole lot cheaper to eat healthy than junk food. Junk food is extremely expensive.Β
Yeah, there are a lot of bullies, I'm not saying there aren't. But most of the people don't flat out call a person 'fat' infront of their face. I have fat friends, and I haven't seen one person bully them for being fat.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Casey-The-Fruit-Cake In reply to SickPuppyi [2015-05-26 17:27:57 +0000 UTC]

You don't know that's true. You can't predict if they're going to kill themselves tomorrow or die in eighty years - you should be downright supportive of that girl no matter how 'annoying' she gets with the whole situation. Tell her to cut the crap and that you'll be there for her when she needs it. I am often surprised at the impact I make on people with one tiny piece of advice that took me a split second to make up. People are often happier living a lie anyway.Β
Eh, no. In Britain it's cheaper to buy a dairy milk than to buy imported/exported fruits and vegetables. In Iceland it's the same case - for example, over there it's Β£10 to buy a frigging broccili.Β

You'd be surprised how self-critical one person can be. They might hear snickering or a rumour and bam. There's their self-confidence down the drain. Seriously. I'd be more observant of the goings-on in your environment to understand.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SickPuppyi In reply to Casey-The-Fruit-Cake [2015-05-26 18:40:55 +0000 UTC]

It's not the person's fault for having a low self-esteem, but it IS their fault for not doing anything about it. And I understand if they have a problem and they can't lose weight. If they have a low self-esteem because they are fat, why don't they do anything about it?
And yeah i'm pretty sure the girls who crave attention have self-esteem issues and need other's attention or approval to make themselves feel better. But do you find it right for girls to scratch themselves and post pictures online or downright seek attention? Cause I certainly don't and imho they need counseling.

Casey-The-Fruit-Cake In reply to SickPuppyi [2015-05-26 18:56:50 +0000 UTC]

Oh my god. THAT'S what low self-esteem prevents you from doing. In order to be healthy you must be healthy in body and mind, so when their bodies fall behind that quota the mind follows. They are therefore unable to control themselves and it gets out of hand. Do you think if they were able they wouldn't be fit as a fiddle? People have other priorities.Β
I really get the impression you're one of those stuck-ups with the way you talk about these people. I was never one to think of such things myself, but I still understand. Instead of being a bitch about it you can ignore or act. Don't fuss over them or any of that controversial shit. You need to tell them to quit it and help them out of that deep, dark hole before they kill themselves and all you can say is 'oh well, they were fat attention-seekers anyway.' It's a poor outlook on humanity.

SickPuppyi In reply to Casey-The-Fruit-Cake [2015-05-26 19:10:26 +0000 UTC]

I've never been told I'm stuck up, but who knows, maybe I am. I'll embrace it and start a campaign on how we should understand stuck up people. I'll call my friends and tell them I'm about to kill myself because I'm so stuck up, and my self esteem is way too low to change that. Damn, it's so hard being stuck up.
Jokes aside. What do you think we should do about fat people then hmm? I've been supportive of my fat friend, and I've been telling her it's alright. ALL my friends are. Guess what? She didn't do anything about it! And it has been going on the same way for two whole years. Everyone supports her.
On the other hand, another one of my ambitious friend was as fat as her, and she became fit in a year. She didn't moan about it either.

Hey, all I was getting at was that you largely disliked, and I use that term loosely, suicidal individuals. You can be a jerk all you want; it has no effect on me or the majority of people on the planet. Like a little gravy stain on a well-used apron. Don't blame me for your choice of words.Β
Your fault was being very ignorant of empathy and I suggest you sort that out before making another outrageous comment.Β

What we should 'do' about them? Oh, when you put it that way, let's ditch them in a hole because they can't possibly be bothered to get out. After all, we've been telling them that they're worth as much as dirt in the media anyway. Why not make it a reality?Β

With your way of handling things, why did you support her at all? You make it seem like she's a burden to the world. Maybe you SHOULD say she's fat - right to her face. You think that'll change anything, perhaps? Maybe she'll be utterly inspired and become the perfect barbie girl you seem to expact her to be.

SickPuppyi In reply to Casey-The-Fruit-Cake [2015-05-27 07:37:07 +0000 UTC]

Wow, i wasn't offended by your comment. All I wanted was to replace the word 'fat' with any other adjective.
Secondly, why are you assuming things? I never said any of that.Β
All in all, it's their decision to be fat. As long as they're not forcing or starting some campaign on how being fat is beautiful and forcing people to be attracted to them, it's completely their decision. And they shouldn't be claiming benefits either.
If I were to tell her she's fat, you'd probably rip my throat out on how cruel and insensitive I am.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Casey-The-Fruit-Cake In reply to SickPuppyi [2015-05-27 08:43:20 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, you misunderstood what I was saying. Oh well, I admire your adeptness for the English language nonetheless.Β
'What we should do with them' makes them sound like ragdolls and I find it difficult to emapthize with people who make things so inhuman and lacking so much humility. I did not assume - it was a mockery of your word organization.Β

It's as much your choice to be attracted to them as it is for them to be fat, you know. They start campaigns for all those teenage girls you're complaining about and in turn, they also offer fitness programs. I don't know about your country, but if you join one of those here, you're going on a marathon.Β
Claiming benefits for being overweight... Never heard that one before. That's also so illogical I cannot fathom as to why the government would do that. Maybe, if they are disabled because of it - that is understandable. Take into account that once you hurt your ankle or leg, it's pretty hard to avoid injury again and people may not be keen on hurting it again. This is another factor of weight gain.
