Hell think I just used everything on this one...
The Face is vector and painting, I bundled the vectors into a 30 layer smart object and painted over the top.
The glowing machine thing was a smart object with 54 layers of vectors and textures.
Hit 240 layers with that grunty complaining 'OMG your killing me' thing that my computer does... It should be used to hitting a gig by now
Note to self: 300 dpi was too damn high.

... One day I will learn layer management better; but I will forget all of it and stress my computer out because it fucking deserves it..... and it knows it....

Brushes used are mine...

:sigh: sometimes life is lame. I hate how they all are looking for experience right away, but in all reality, if they got new people they could train that person in ANY way they want. What is not to love about that? As opposed to having some prissy graphic designer that says, "well at [insert some awesome company's name] WEEE did such and such. So meh." As a production supervisor i would want to stab anyone who said that to me. "Yeah well I pay you so stifle and do it." Newbies will do whatever you want for the sheer fact that they REALLY want their job.

I'm taking a zen approach to being unemployed.. apparently 1/3 of graduates still don't have a (decent/ well paid) job 5 years after leaving Uni. Unemployment is skyrocketing and meh fail government has just taken on one hundred and fifty thousand refugees from Africa, to add to the millions streaming into the country already.
So I'm fighting unchecked immigration, record unemployment, recession, my poor school gcse grades, dyslexia, a lack of experience and a student debt of 10,000 pounds... that's just the start
Might as well be sticking applications in the western wall in Jerusalem

Yikes. The UK is pretty small.... adding 50,000 people to the population is kinda.... stupid. I wonder if they are actually doing those people a favor.

I guess if everyone is in a bad spot you don't really have to worry about people getting all upset at you.

Eres-Graph In reply to pixini [2009-07-17 20:35:02 +0000 UTC]

Only it's my think...
But when we do "abstract" we can do what we want it's okay...
But doing a really thing it's more difficult we are not "free"
So it's more difficult and more nice.
So ME i dislike abstract because it's generally the "hide" for "not good"

(Sorry for bad english)

Not for you !!
But generally, so i'm not fond off this deviations (abstract)

I think its a misconception that abstract art hides poor work, true abstract art has to take into account all the balance and proportion of a real painting.
Unfortunately Abstraction is a victim of many false artists and fraudsters.
I'm trying to find a path and a place for myself within my art, to find that path and place I have to try new things out.
