May be you might want to attempt some OC trolling? That phrase is well known now, A Google search leads to the Encyclopedia Dramatica page, so most people will decipher it as a 4chan troll.
Instead of random trolling, pick worthy victims try some of DA's furry or emo crowd... Trolling being an art and all that...

pretty impressive, like the warm tones and the style, is the vertical piece on the left supposed to remain there? I find that its distracting from the focal point, it makes it somehow look unfinished like if you're still supposed to paint that area, as you know thats just my opinion, and if you like it then thats great

Ah, awesome, how did you do it? Make squiggly lines and change the textures and smoothness? It just looks so realistic that I'm curious

I made an oval shape mutated it with warp then elongated it with free transform.... saved that off as a brush then Gaussian blurred it to make a soft brush....
large at 20 percent opacity you get nice overlaid stokes, hard brush really small at 70 percent opacity great for details, for light on water just add scatter in the brush prefs.
