Banner used for Lloyd's support thread at SmashBoards: [link]So I heard the Tales producers were going to beg Sakurai to include a Tales character in SSB4. Well, if Namco can fix the many issues Brawl had, I guess that's fair. It could always be worse... we could have Meat Boy. *shudder*

Never played Tales of Symphonia, but I've always wanted to. Lloyd Irving looks like he'd be an awesome new addition!
Also, I would love Meat Boy, even though he doesn't actually fight. Super Meat Boy was a freaking awesome game!

Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing Lloyd in one. I had hoped he would make the cut for Brawl, but him coming into the next installment wouldn't be bad.
That said, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Rita or Yuri from Tales of Vesperia making the cut in his stead as well. It's somewhat original and Rita's fighting style, I think would fit well in SSB, and Yuri is a bit of a departure for a lot of Tales protagonists and that originality could help him appeal more as a character.
Either way, we all win.

I wouldn't hold out much hope for characters who've only appeared on Nintendo systems as a cameo or minor appearance in a crossover, but at least a Tales character in general finally has a decent shot at inclusion.

True. I'd say Lloyd, Kratos, and Luke are the best shots. Mithos Yggdrasil has a very slim chance, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Now that is a SSB I would buy, like, right away. Well it would be pretty cool if they could put in Luke Fon Fabre. But if this were to happen it would probably be the first game i would pre-order.
