That's pretty much what I'm aiming at. I'm much better at that kind of style (line based) than anything else and I enjoy making it a lot.
I have to say I'm not terribly satisfied with this picture (the lighting is weird and overall I don't find what it tells to be really interesting) but I learned a bunch of things in the process, so the next one should be closer to "good".

I think it came out fabulous, dude-- don' see any of the flaws that you do... honestly, this looks like the kind of style that you could fill an awesome art book with...
