Recent nude shoot in an old burnt out warehouse. Such fun and so beautiful until we nearly got arrested by the police. Damn trespass laws!Related content

This is my favorite photo from the Bright as Yellow series.
It's just a great combination of elements. The lines, the yellow, the figure, the mood...
The lines on the wall resemble tear streaks down a face, but the woman's face is hidden, maybe the wall speaks for her. The top of the wall is warm toned and the lower half cool toned, but right in the middle of the blue is this over powering bright yellow cloth.
I think there is both happiness and sadness in this image. Which I find to be far more complex and real then if it was just one or the other.

Isn't the fabric gorgeous? I had this burning desire to incorporate a really bright fabric into a shoot for a long time and after a trip to a fabric store and a well spent $20, I ended up with the most fantastic coloured yellow wool-type stuff that was just perfect in this burnt out setting! Thanks so much x

Haha Aw thank you so much, that's so sweet and I really am so glad someone agrees. Ah yes, it was a pretty awkward situation, what with the naked model and 4 burly male policeman and 2 giant police vans. I thought they were going to cart us away kicking and screaming but thankfully we just got a warning. Phew! At least the shoot was pretty much over by the time they arrived ;D
