Made this a few days ago, wanted to do something high detailed and robotic so I did a random combat robot, idea was something that could be used like for a FPS player skin if done up, was inspired by UT's Liandri bots, with a more militaristic type look.In all was some good, originally planned it to transform to some degree but kinda left it out though stil lleft the other components on as fun doodads.
And please take note before making an ass of yourself the color green and yellow visor lenses existed for years before the Master Cheif....Hell the original Doom guy had that pioneered for a decade before XD

the torso connector spine thingy is way to small. the thing doesnt look stable at all. it looks like a slight gust would make him fall. his hips dont have anything connecting them to the thighs. you've got perspective issues on the gun, your line work is sloppy, you need to work on line economy. theres bits here and there where you dont imply the mass well and it looks flat.
keep it up, the overall design isnt bad

Ill take that all into consideration if I ever do similar future pieces. Though this piece is rather old and Ive moved on since then. Line work was sloppy cause it was a 'cleaned' up sketch, haha and overall this piece is rather dated. I had no clue about that stuff back in 09

I'm at work here. And throughout the day I've been staring at your Havoc Droid to inspire me and get my mind off the mind numbing monotony of the day.
You've just gotta make a sequel to the havoc droid. Some variations? Whatever comes to mind would be cool.

Honestly I dunno when. Ill do something in the future though probably not this sorta thing, maybe another spontaneous robot or mech. Just asking isn't gonna make it happen faster

Was a very detailed piece to do, lately IRL and issues have been giving me a major art and creativity clump. I might be taking commissions again sometime in a few months but thats about it.

Don't give up dude! If your in a creativity slump just take your Havoc Droid and make some variations of it.
Make it Bigger, smaller, different technical details, or do the Havoc droid all over again with different coloring, weapons, or add some humans along side it to give the Havoc scale.
I pictured the Havoc as being much taller than a human but not super gigantic mecha sized.
I figure the Havoc is about the general size of the Na'vi from "Avatar". Perhaps slightly bigger.
How about doing a detailed 3G version of the Havoc. Perhaps you can ask one of your buddies here on deviantart to do that for you?
Sorry for all this banter, but it's just that I love this design!
I betcha after doing this your mind would be open up to ideas you didn't think of before.

Damn the detail is really sick.
Like how the hind legs Don't looks like Hind legs. I mean, if you saw it from the side you could tell. but from the view here. Looks like it has normal jointed legs.
