A blue butterfly - don't know which one ( small, large, chalkhill, adonis?) 2 hours stalking to get one decent shot - they're quick!! Any suggestions on ID? Picture taken in The New Forest, UKRelated content

Lovely picture.
For an ID, it looks like a male Silver-studded Blue. One of their listed habitat's is also sandy heaths, so that would fit well with the open area's of the New Forest.
