My 1st visit to Watkins Glen State Park and I /thought that the waterfalls in Ithaca could not be beat This place however gives it a real run for the money its really beautiful but a well kept secret its not as many many people had the same idea on this beautiful fall day

Taken with the Nikon d-90 and the nikkor 50mm G series lens on

Wow!...hats off to you!. Yup, using primes is quite a task when it comes to framing and compostion. But it's a good thing too since we are force to not be lazy as compared to using zoom lenses!. I'm always a fan of primes. Since using a full frame camera, using my current prime lens is a dream for me!.

Cool its just a better lens but nature does not cooperate all the time but it was fun to try it out

. Couldn't agree more. We are at the mercy of nature. It's so unpredictable lately that I'm just about to give up doing landscape photography until after december. But...I'm not giving up yet.

Thanks for the compliment!. Will definitely try. Landscape is my # 1 love. Portraits and the rest takes second place actually.
