In light of the IHE debate I was unknowingly occurring in my comment section allow me to explain.
This drawing is an old request from my good friend. If you see this as some kind of retaliation towards IHE's video then, oh well. I really don't care how you feel on the matter, I just drew a picture for my friend.
I will say though please don't argue in my comment section. It's a fucking picture of an Elite.

In regard to the minorelite comment, yes, he and the friends who defended him over reacted to a critique that was written to be more humorous than critical. I retain my neutral stance on the matter.

MinorElite was artist who's piece was featured in a video titled "I Hate DeviantArt". The video featured drawings that were poorly done drawings or drawings that were the best the artist could do at the time. Minor saw this as IHE bullying him and called upon his friends to express our concern. Many only escalated the matter with childish insults and proclaiming IHE had no reason to say what he said. IHE retaliated with a video called comment comeback where he replied to my follow friends who only embarrassed themselves with their childish argument.Β
MinorElite then left as fans of IHE bugged him further, I simply drew this as per his request.Β
I am sorry but I don't care about what your stance is on the matter, like I said in my description it's a drawing of a fucking Elite and nothing more.

Indeed he did, all artist will be criticized and our art judged by the masses. Minor was welcomed by the Halo community and specifically the Elite fan base. Yet he forgot that this sight is open to all types of people and their views. I'm not saying IHE did something wrong but in a sense nor did Minor.

Well I'm a Halo playing, Communist loving, TG artist and despite that it's a weird combination where some people would question my sanity I remain accepted by my followers and fans I meet. Minor was accepted by his friends and while you may not of fallen into that category that doesn't mean he wasn't accepted.
As for his piece, as I said it wasn't my favorite piece and I understand the criticism that followed after it's upload. I'm not saying that your criticism is wrong in fact that has been my stance since the beginning. Minor reacted in a way that I truthfully found was not suited for the circumstance. In my opinion yes he over reacted by as an artist I also understand the feeling of harsh criticism but every artist needs this to improve.Β

Pfft, i never knew Minor but i know what IHE said was offensive, but after he said in the video (the one that wasn't taken down) ''It was a joke, no harm meant to him, for gods sake do you think i'm THAT horrible of a person to just go around and commenting on peoples art work JUST to get attention?'' And to be honest, Minor quit. I quit my other DA for the same reason he was going through at the time. People, not trying to start fight but - who cares if he's gone? He has good friends out there that are MOST likely to comment on this but to be honest, THIS IS AN OPINION. So if you disagree with my opinion here's a few words for you ''Who gives a damn?'' Now that that's out, lets get back to Minor's issues shall we? So he quit after IHE explained EVERYTHING. Minor didn't get back on his account since then. It was ALL straightened out and he refused. People may think he only refused because the humiliation got to him, but i think he only wants attention - and to this day i KNOW for a fact that he thinks about the comments on him, and about how ''SENSITIVE'' he was but, PEOPLE?! He quit his DA for that reason, when he had the chance to go back on - which makes me happy, that's one less person to think about.Β Go ahead, comment on this saying it's over why are you talking about it - or - just giving me a simple thing to argue about. Anyone who replies to this wants to win this battle, but this battle has already been won, so dont bother trying. Like i said, I-WONT-GIVE-A-DAMN.

I'm sorry I didn't understand the IHE thing before, I quickly realized afterwards who you were talking about.
IHE is a brilliant comedian, he is extremely talented in both video making or script writing. It is obvious he puts a large amount of effort into his work and I in no way insulted him. I re-watched his comment comeback (which I wasn't present in, sorry my friend) and what I say were friends over reacting to a video that lets be honest only a few seconds were given to Minor's art work as he was more complaining about the whole site in general.
Now I'm just going to ask you is what purpose is your comment? I just don't understand if your trying to agitate me or your just making a statement. I'm not trying to be rude but i'm just curious, what is your ultimate goal?
