The cat is out of the bag now! Some of you sharp-eyed viewers noticed the scarf, and here he is: the one that might just be my personal favorite Jojo, Joseph Joestar.
Your next line is “Is this going to be a series of artworks?” 👉

Here’s some personal info about me: I’m an artist, yes, but besides that I’m also a student. -not an art student, mind you, I’m studying a career in Biotechnology- and I actually entered college at the same time as Jojo entered my life. Around that time I got introduced and finished Part 1 in a blink, loved Jonathan and Dio, but it was Part 2 that definitely cemented my love for Jojo and I have rarely ever had a blast like the one I had watching Battle Tendency for the first time. It was a bizarre, unique golden experience. Joseph is the antithesis of Jonathan: while the first is the ultimate gentleman, the softest boy, Joseph is a goddamn punk and a mostly irresponsible asshole, fighting with tricks and traps and messing with his enemies. Nonetheless, he still inherits that same Joestar will, honor and kindness that runs through his blood, he might look like an idiot doing it but at the end of the day he WILL do the right thing. Running away is just part of his masterplan. I loved seeing his character develop throughout the different parts, I feel like I never get enough of Joseph! He’s so magnetic and interesting to watch (and his theme song, my god, P2’s OST in general).

I hoped to capture his dynamism here, his design was slightly harder to translate to realism than Jonathan’s.
