Since no one's answered you yet, I'll go for it--there's one episode where Levi's squad all bit their hands in an effort to feel what Eren goes through, and later episodes make a point to show the scars where they did it. Petra does indeed have that bite mark on one hand; they showed one of her little hands sticking out when they wrapped up her body. :<
