But that can also be inconveniant, especially when you wear contacts, and the rain gets in your eyes, and you walk down the road like a crazy person because you can't see!

I was in Swansea, just on the coast. So I got the full gale force winds! Your thing says that you're down North Wales way, I have to admit I never ventured that far, too many stories of how you all hated outsiders!

hahaaa rofl. Yeah I live in North Wales.. but I'm not a southerner hating local. I live on the border anyway, and I live in a working industrial town, so hardly anyone here is actually Welsh. In fact, most people here are either scouse, or polish!
I've never been to Swansea itself, but I love south west Wales.

Swansea was really a lovely place, and Cardiff is absolutely gorgeous. But I guess I'm a true Londoner at heart, people were just too nice in Wales, very disconcerting!

Ahh yeah I know what ya mean, it can be a little freaky when everyone's nice to each other. Everyone just keeps themselves to themselves here, but as soon as you venture into the villages, people talk to you randomly.. if you're not used to that.. it's like "wtf?"

I went to uni there, came back to London after I finished the degree. Was a lovely place to live but by the time I left I knew it was time to move on...
