Look! I posted something this year! I've finally settled down in my new home enough to produce some new art. Well, I have been drawing other things but this one is my work on figuring out color. Its been a challenge to say the least. I've always had trouble with painting/drawing in color. I've got some help though. My girlfriend is pretty good with color and there is a lot of examples/tutorials here on DeviantART that have been a big help. Anyway, hope you like this one.Edit: added some more contrast and shadows.

I'm not good with colour myself... play around until something works, I guess! I like the chainmail, that's very nice. ^^ The belt really caught my attention, too. Good job~

Thanks! Yeah, I've been working on boosting the color without blowing it out. I'm glad you liked the chainmail. I was experimenting with a custom brush.

Yes I do very much. Link's shield arm seems twisted, which is probably just line work. Otherwise this is awesome, and congrats on the new living space.

I'm still working on this. I'm trying not to get attached to the art so if things need to be changed I won't hesitate to do so. Which way do you think his arm should be going?

it's the muscle or the line for it anyway. it just needs to be more subtle, or maybe it's just the bicep. It seems separate from the rest of the arm. I understand you're still working on it silly it's why i'm making suggestions.
