Ehehe you're welcome <3
Haha that's always good. I love the way the tassels on the shawl cross her face.

thanks! It was an accident. I pulled the shawl up thinking it wasnt working and since its really long it just dragged over her.It looked amazing so I kept it there.

I think yours is stunning! In terms of Plague it did help to give her a face-up more fitting and just really not be scared of taking her more towards her actual self. I get inspired by her now which I didn't before.
Maybe you should just draw from one facet of her at a time. In that aspect she can be really inspiring!

even more beautiful! I know from my own experiance that staring from the middle of something (or sometimes at the end which I have a habit of doing) that going back to the start is rather difficult. So I completely understand. Staring is so hard for me.

You too huh? XD Yes, I don't usually start from the middle, but this was a special case. See, my friend and I both saw a doll that we really liked (on dA too) and decided that, as friendship charms, we'd end up getting the same doll and make them twins. Eventually, upon further investigation into the Migidoll line, she saw Hana's Vampire Miho & fell in love. We started developing the twins then, deciding they wouldn't be identical because I couldn't quite picture myself having such a seductive boy. (I don't know if you've seen Hana's V. Miho, but he is just amazingly sexy!)
So, I kept looking for my boy, and our plot grew. And that's what happened. What started as a simple decision to get twin BJDs as best friend charms ended up becoming the most insane, elaborate, and weird story ever. We started in the middle because we wanted to give the twins definite personalities, and now we're back tracking. XD
Are you participating in NaNo? {Sorry for totally writing a novel in your comment, lol}

ahahahah I don't mind at all. I like it. Be prepared for my wall of text reply. LOL
And yeah I have seen him hes stunning!
As much as you cant see yourself having such a seductive boy
perhaps there is ways to
tone that down? I dont know. I think though its lovely that you
and your friend are wanting matching friendship dolls.
My sister and I are the same way
and that's why we both have Delf Soonys.
She is my grail doll and my sister
wanted us both to have one. They both have two VERY different
looks though and personalities.
In a way they are both little mini mes of ourselves.
Though the actual character of mine is me in our book we write
together and that characters twin brother is her. So I totally
get it. We did the same almost.
Developed who they were and the story but now its the details
that are bogging us down.
I should participate in it though its too late now. I always say this year,
this month, etc but I never get around to it. Ive
had massive writings block for a couple years.
Don't know if that has ever happened to you but after you hit
a year mark it becomes like this living breathing wall. Though
I am slowly over coming it.
Ive been just writing random one shots of stories and
even fanfiction just to get in the swing of it again. Being an author is
all Ive ever wanted.
I do find it lovely and interesting though that you chose to
doll a secondary character first. Maybe you feel more strongly for her?
I don't know. Its probably becuase you really fell for the sculpt and knew it was her.
lol

Yaay! Long replies! I love those.
Ahh, so you understand too! That's so great. I get most people looking at me like O_o ! I guess that in many ways it works out that the boys won't be identical twins. My friend and I share the same taste in music, and movies -- things like that -- but we're completely different in style and personality. So V. Miho fits more the type of guy she created, kind of dark, seductive, prone to darkness -- especially with the slanted eyes on that sculpt.
And my boy is an angry-mess, with big innocent eyes, and a dirty mouth. He wears loud colors and make up (make up being the only style similarity to his brother) ~ It's like, whenever I see a Jina boy, though they're all unique and fitting of their owner's character, I can see a little bit of mine in them. It's like, I can't picture our twins to be embodied by anyone but a V. Miho and a Jina. There's just something about those two sculpts that spoke to us electrically. I literally felt zapped.
I suppose that I got Aithne first because I wanted my friend and I to buy the twins together, to have the same date (at least on the heads) on their certificates. Corny, I know. To be honest, my female grail is a Limhwa Half Elf. She's a way more prominent character than Aithne in my story. I was in two pre-orders for her but somehow I ended up with Rosy. I guess it was a combo of things. I wanted a tan Half Elf, and I didn't like the color Limhwa was doing last year... too orange for my taste. So, I ended up with Rosy -- the doll I fell in love with when I first learned about the hobby.
She was never part of the story, but I made her fit based on what I envisioned. I imagined her having white hair, being perfect-doll-like, because she's a cyborg. So, she can look real, but when she doesn't it just shows her imperfect engineering. She was the first type. So, I tried to fit her in and give her a history that fit the story, but I think I'll just have to go back to what she always inspired in me since I saw her.
Ahhh, see? Talking to you about this allowed me to see what I had to do. XD A part of me is often tempted to see if anyone would trade their Jina for my girl [I dread the resin matching thing when I hunt for a body for Jina] but I resist. I'd feel like a mother who swaps her child for another. Can't say I'll never do it, but it has crossed my mind.

hahaha sorry for the late reply. Been busy lately.
I love your girl and I bet she would sell or be traded in a heart beat.
I thought of doing that with Plague but
after only a day of having her listed I had a giant heart
attack. I adore her too much. She was my first real doll. I had one before her
but only for about two weeks before I sold her for Plague. Her birthday is coming up soon.
Do you celebrate doll birthdays? I was thinking of getting her
these cute ankle booties I had been pining for.
anyway, I know that Jina is a huuuugeeely popular mold
so they sell quick. But im sure if you wait you can get him
without selling Aithne.
And my sisters grail is the same
a limwha half elf girl. You'd have gorgeous doll family
if you had all three.

You know what I find is my biggest problem in the hobby? I love so many sculpts and can see myself buying the dolls that I like, but realistically, I can't seem to own more than one at a time. It's so weird. Growing up, I was fortunate enough to count with having lots of dolls. And I was fine owning them all. But I can't seem to do the same thing with BJDs. I've even served as foster parent to dolls my friends thought of selling to me and I just couldn't handle having more than one at a time.
Maybe it's because I find them so... I don't know, kind of like, realistic and personal, so if I have more I can't dedicate time or money to all. And I totally am the type to celebrate dolly birthdays and Christmas, and all that. I've always treated my "objects" or "toys" as if they had a soul somewhere.
A part of me knows that eventually I will part with her. I'm just trying to figure what I really want to do. ^_^
My true grail is a tan Limhwa. I saw one on Flickr that just made me go "I must have this doll." But I think Limhwa will stop making tanned girls and the new tans isn't one I like too much. I have a friend who has a tan Half Elf from the batch I liked, and I told her that if she ever decided to sell her, I'd need to be the buyer.
But then again. I don't know if I can ever get used to having more than one dolly. I just seem meant for ONE. And so far, I really, really want to have my Niko *Jina*
