phew.. fanart is much easier when it is puppies. lolAnyway. Hey it's Gin! I've been putzing around with a sort of half realistic/half cartoony sorta of feeling.
I really like this one. And in case anyone asks, Weed is on deck.
The sketch I did Was of Gin and Weed but I changed my mind. I had never drawn an akita before, sooo I looked at a lot of pictures, and I'm still worried he came out looking rather husky like. I can't tell.Image by Plaguedog

They ARE japanese. Very good! They were origionally bred to be hunting dogs, but are now simply loyal companions and great guard dogs.

Very cool! I have, unfortunately, only seen a few episodes of the Legend of Silver Fang (the first series, with Gin; I tend to butcher the Japanese title, so I'll leave it off). I love wonderful fanart of it, though, particularly when it is done in a more realistic style. And this is probably one of the best pieces of Weed fanart I have ever seen. Great pose and expression. He looks very handsome in you style. Definitely a +fave!

akitas have more stealth and build i believe. this looks great as it it, a little bit more on the shiba inu side tho.
