I saw this photo on Pinterest (www.flickr.com/photos/theauror⦠), and wanted to adapt the color scheme to a dress for Luna, hence this one.The eye looks weird because the eye "slits" are not placed in the same way

This is soooooo beautiful! The dress definitely is super fitting for this & I really love the concept that you had in idea for this because it really shows of amazement in the end! I love the beauty of the dress & the way its colored as just the coloring in general for this is welcoming & really beautiful with covering the spectrum of blues heh. Also just your art style with the rough yet soft looked approach that it has with the textures & how it combines with everything else, you do it so well! It is funny, I actually looked at the dress in the show specifically to avoid looking too similar to it, but now seeing the color gradient, the transparancy and the sparkles... I just don't know what to say.

No, you're absolutely fine. I looked at the show dress when I did my initial sketch and thought, "There's no way they will look similar". However, midway painting, I've decided to make the dress semi-transparent and add the sparkles, this time I didn't bother to check the show dress. And after I'm done and saw your comment, I was like "Crap, they do look almost the same. How the hell did this happen?!"
