How They Met
Maggie was born off island when Sweets was still living with his parents. She was an early birth, and spent her first few weeks rather ill. While Sweets' father was eager to be rid of her, deeming her an ineffective dairy cow, Sweets always had faith in her, despite her skittishness and what many interpreted as a personality ill suited for farm life. He took her with him when he moved to Jarr, where the calm countryside has been kind to her. She produces a rich and creamy chocolate milk, which has formed a staple in much of Sweets' baking. While she is fearful of strangers, she is quick to warm up to others if approached properly.
