Great tutorial, but anyone who uses this should still file their image under photo manipulations. It's simply dishonest to try and pass off a photo as something you painted yourself. It disrespects the photographer, the model, and the digital artists who do actually paint portraits. Really great step by step tutorial though!

Someone on this site is doing this but trying to pass off the photos as actual digital paintings. It's a great effect though

While this is an awesome tutorial, and I think you did really well explaining it... I just have issues with it because I see people using it to claim they painted something when all they did was alter a photo. :c Hopefully, people won't be so dishonest.

But seriously, I do really like the overall effect. c: A very good, well-written and laid out tutorial.
