NAME.

    Atropa

AGE.

    26

GENDER & PRONOUNS.

    Cis - she/her

HEIGHT.

    3’8”

OCCUPATION.

    Doctor!

SPECIES.

flower fellow - a humanoid plant

ABILITY.

On Atropa’s head there is usually a little berry plant growing. While she’d never eat them herself, cause that’s weird, they seem to be useful in medicine. When Atropa adds a berry to some medicine, it becomes more effective, at the cost of the extremely bitter taste the berries provide. They also grow quite slowly.

PERSONALITY.

Helpful | Calm | Protective | Orderly

Inscruitible | Restless | Aloof | Blunt

Atropa has a strong instinct in her to help and support others, and has her own quiet way of going about it. Usually she will not say much in terms of helping, preferring to let her actions speak rather than her words. However this in turn can make Atropa seem distanced and indifferent. And if she does speak up about something she wants to help with.. she doesn’t seem to sugar-coat her words though they are quiet, particularly when she is working as a doctor.

But at heart Atropa is a kind person, and has a knack for keeping things organised and being prepared for many situations.. Or at least thinking up a plan on the fly. Atropa is also a little restless, having spent much of her life on the move, it seems she might be a little hesitant to put some roots down.

BACKSTORY.

Atropa is a wanderer, and her family are wanderers. Her father seems to be some kind of joxter, and wandered off one day to find somewhere warm and sunny. Atropa doesn’t really mind though; she wandered off with her mother, who was a travelling herbalist and a flower fellow. As such, Atropa has embraced the plant side of herself, and learned almost everything from her mother.

When she could learn no more, Atropa found a college to learn even more at, and then continued the strange family tradition of wandering around and meeting people. Atropa has been a lone wandering doctor for a few years now, helping those she comes across in her slow travels, and learning strange and new ways of applying medicine as she went.

And yet recently, Atropa’s feet have been getting tired... it’s time to settle and find a home. Idylwile Valley seems sunny and green and peaceful, maybe the perfect place to make a small living in!

TRIVIA.
  • spotify playlist

  • voice claim - lapis

  • Tends to take her patient’s lunch rather than their money, if she can get away with it

  • Works out of her little house for now, she has a sunroom that she has turned into her office

  • Is ready to take on a patient at any time of day! If you come at night, she won’t turn you away

  • From all she’s learned on her travels, Atropa’s methods in healing may seem foreign and strange, but they seem to work

  • Related to the nightshade flower, but she doesn’t seem to be poisonous at all

  • Atropa keeps her practice running throughout the winter rather than hibernating, but she really has to rug up and keep the fire going! The cold and frost is terrible for her plant qualities
