i swear, in the novels he's getting darker and darker. Maybe he qualifies as even snapped from all that power. I mean, setting a guy on fire sadistically and enjoying it? that's not very him at all (i blame izaya and aoba. it's all their fault)

well since novel6 with that one incedeent where mikado was trying to save the girl and all and got beaten up...he's been going down hill.....i thought he might become the master mind but i didn't think he will get that evil...aw well, at least masaomi got up to save him somehow so i'm counting on him...TTwTT izaya's beoming an even bigger asshole....gurr...

Yesh. I even thought of him as kinda like Light from Death Note. He's. to put it plainly, drunk on power (repetition in my words XD)It's really creepy when you compare the Mikado from the beginning of the first book to what he is now.
I first liked Izaya, then hated him for being a jerkass, kinda felt bad for him when he got stabbed, then just went back to hating him. He's the ultimate bastard.
Though the outcome isn't just Izaya's fault, it's also part of Mikado's personality. Remember, Masaomi went through pratically the same suffering at the hands of Izaya. He just ended up like... you know. Mikado, on the other hand....

I can't read the novel sadly - I don't know Japanese...
That is what is making him so interesting. At first I found him kinda...dull. Now I am starting to wonder if he will become the next Izaya.
O_O Something bad is going to happen to him?
I know they are starting to come out with the anime in english next month, but not much else.

O_O When Mikado wants a happy ending, he'll GET his happy ending. Not bad for the leader of a website gang. Let's hope he continues to improve everyone, otherwise his gang of rabid otakus will find you and possibly tortute with something out of a hentai. Anyway, faving this so much! Mikado needs more points of awesome.
