"Edmund Templeton and Istvan Czernin, a librarian who steals time and a spectral avatar of the First World War, stolid patience in black and mercurial intensity in white, a man long-living and a man long-dead: these are the Interminables, supernatural peacekeepers in a near future where simply being unkillable is no longer enough."Cover? Movie poster? Promo shot? I don't know (spoilers: cover) but HELL YEAH THIS IS HAPPENING, GUYS.
There is no way to express enough love for UnoSombrero who is writing this thing and also did the typography here and a little final color correction. Methinks the working title "The Interminables" is going to stick, at this point. Characters are ours, of course.

I see him along with that barbed wire - is it a weapon or a part of him, because of his death?

It's a part of him; he casts it like a shadow wherever he goes and it also reflects his emotional state (shiny, smooth loops in a good mood; more rusted and jagged when troubled). It's there because he is an avatar of WWI - he has an alternate shape, winged and skeletal, in which the wire increases greatly.

I have lots actually, and more coming. UnoSombrero and I are embroiled in a massive project to create a novel (her field) and graphic novel (mine) and I have plenty of concept art and stuff!
