Description
This takes place in an alternate universe, after Steven is kidnapped by Aquamarine. During the trial, the diamonds discovered Steven was actually much stringer than a full fledged gem, since his gem could be shattered but he would still live on, just not with any gem powers, and if he was mortally wounded, he would simply regenerate. The diamonds began creating synthetic humans, with gems, in order to reap the benefits of both species. And such, they created many experiments but eventually perfected a mix of human and gem that would make the perfect soldier. They set out to not only destroy the crystal gems with their newfound army, but to conquer the whole universe.

Headcanons/Facts:
-The term for gem/humans is 'Halflings'.
-The training program for these Halflings is rigorous, and many don't make it, choosing either death or to live as a homeless person in Homeworld.
-Earth is basically the same, just all politicians are gems, and most humans don't even really notice the changes.
-Steven IS alive in this alternate timeline, but he's a prisoner of the diamonds and has no gem powers.
-The crystal gems escaped, and are fugitives.
-Lars is in the human zoo.
