Description
Most would say the Moon is many things. Beautiful. Inspiring. Magnificent. Well... the inhabitants of Eris would say differently.

No one knows how or when it arrived, its presence preceding any notion of history. For as long as it has been around, very little is known about it.

What is currently known:
- It is an incredible powerful Rust.
- It it dead.
- Dead does not mean safe.
- Do not look at it.
- It has been around longer than any of us.
- Hide during an eclipse.
- Do not look at it.
- Its path around the planet is never the same.
- Its path can't be predicted.
- Staring at it for a few seconds won't harm you.
- DO NOT LOOK AT IT.

Further study of the satellite is both futile and dangerous. Directly looking at the beast causes a variety of ailments. Headaches. Nausea. Bleeding. Mania. And if stared at for long periods, Blight. Blight will cause the victim to turn into sub category of Rusts known as a Tungol. (Tungols are basically just like werewolves. Tungols will also be discussed more at a later time.)

If you thought everything so far was bad pray you never have to endure an eclipse. If one happens hide in a shelter and wait until it's over. During an eclipse the moon will paint everything in a tint of red over the course of hours. In this state staring at the moon for even an instant will kill and turn you. Even if you don't stare at it, dying during an eclipse will turn you. You will hear both noises and voices in an attempt to trick you. They are not real. Even if the cries for help were real it wouldn't be worth it. If you are outside during an eclipse follow a few simple rules.
- Never look up.
- Be prepared to defend yourself. Both Rusts and Tungols are in a powered frenzy and will try to kill you.
- Try to find a shelter as soon as you can.
- Don't trust your senses.

As bad as that sounds everybody's kind of used to it. Everyone is taught from a young age on how to react during signs of an upcoming eclipse. And they don't usually last more than an a few hours.
