Description
Depicting a time billions of years away (but in the past or the future? That is for you to decide) from the original "Lost" image.So basically, I just wanted to play around with the image a little more.
Also serves as a wallpaper. Two other versions can be found in the .zip. Both are 1600x1200.

Its beautiful. I love the sharpness of the nebula. Its very intriguing and eye catching. It also looks very fluid and really brings out feeling with the image.
The one thing that stands out for me is the orange - red transfer between the nebulas. There appears to be a band where the orange is tending more to green (by maybe 2-5%) that helps to direct the eye to the planet, but I find that it is also acting as a barrier preventing me from looking at the right side of the image. As well, if I only look at the right side of the image, the composition only pulls my eye up or down off of the page, rather than guiding me to the main focus.
Really its still a wonderful image. Great work!

An interesting point of view, thanks for that. It may be simply that there are no highlights to focus on in the red part of the image. I find my eyes bouncing back to the bright part, too.

Very nice... maybe a bit too rough though, a smoothing filter over top would definately have added a more realistic look.
