Farewell our dear friend, Satoru Iwata. Nintendo's President and one of the most human individuals in the world of gaming. I'm not sure who will replace him as President of Nintendo... but they will have some gigantic shoes to fill.
There are not many company presidents who would cut their own salaries to make sure their workers get paid and their products are successful. There are not many who would go to the lengths that Iwata-San did to connect with his customers and fans. Nintendo Directs have been one of my absolute favorite things about Nintendo's marketing plan and seeing Iwata appear every time with some news about a new game or event, or the "ear of luigi" always made me smile.
He is a man who will truly be missed by many, and his absence will be felt by the gaming community and Nintendo fans for a long time to come.
