I love Thistleclaw tbh and Thistleclaw and snowfur is my favourite warrior cats pairing
I don't understand why Thistleclaw is in the dark forest
yes he was a little bloodthirsty and obsessed with fight but he was always loyal to his clanmates and his clan
he never hurt someone in his clan and he was never really evil
Damn Blackstar followed Brokenstar even he was banished and he killed stonefur, he's a motherfucking traitor and he still got his 9 lives?! are you serious? Such an ass becomes leader but Thistleclaw had to go to the dark forest cause he was a bit too agressive??

Actually, just popping in here, we see why he deserves the DF in Crookedstar's Promise. There, he shows his true colors.
Ofc, he was a bit of a savage in Bluestar's Promise (as this quote details):
"If only they had seen him as she had, with his claws at Oakheart's throat, goading Tigerclaw on to savage a helpless kit, pacing the borders with wild-eyed hunger for revenge. The memories gave Bluefur strength. Whatever it had cost her, she was the only cat who could stand in Thistleclaw's way. Only she knew what he was capable of."
That's more than "A Bit too Aggressive" TBH. xD
The real kicker is in Crookedstar's Promise, where we learn he's been training in the Dark Forest (knowing full well what this entails):
"StarClan? You mouse-brain! This isn't StarClan! Those smug, toothless fools won't teach you anything as useful as this."
Say what you want about Blackstar, he never betrayed the core of the Clans for the sake of power. Plus, he lived long enough to make up for what he'd done and mellow out a lot, driving him back to a better road. Thistleclaw never gave himself that chance, dying in battle and covered in blood.

Nice~! I think Thistle was in the dark forest for how ambitions he was, he wanted to be leader, spilling so much blood, as well as in crookedstar's prophecy he trained in the dark forest knowing what they were.
