In the daytime, Music Box is as friend as friend can be. She has a natural sense of childhood whimsy that keeps things interesting to her in her day-to-day life, especially when her job consists of playing the same song at parties whenever she gets to go.

And then nighttime happens.

See, Music Box takes "rest and recharge" very literally as her crank winds up while her mind's drifting off in sleep, but she also has a tendency to sleepwalk, which in turn unwinds her crank. Being a very heavily sound-oriented person, she has an incredibly sharp sense of hearing and finding her way around when she can't see, which is also used in her involuntarily nightly strolls.

Should her crank come completely undone, her music starts playing, but she also starts lashing out as she's unable to wind the crank back up on her own (her legs aren't as limber as most object characters). At that point, either someone tries to fight off the highly irritated arm inside her box to wind her up again or she wakes up the following day a groggy mess.

Not looking too merry if you can't get any sleep...
