This is Challenge 3 for Object Wars 15 . Challenge Theme: Christmas.

This may not be the ideal depiction of Christmas that people picture; Families together, giving out presents, relaxing in the comfort of their own home... but the thing is... Sage Candle doesn't have that luxury.

Sage... is homeless. Not broke, she makes a decent income from her job as a yoga instructor, but it's not enough to afford a house of any caliber, so she lives on the street near her job using the money for essentials only. (The building owner doesn't permit employees to stay after hours)

Despite this bleak scenario, Sage Candle still finds comfort in her environment and still has gratitude for her position even while in such a crummy situation. The newspaper article that can be seen on the floor was the advertisement to join Object Wars 15, which Sage has held onto even to this day. With Christmas coming up, she wanted to do something nice to those that she met at the event, so she baked a nice plate of cookies for the OW15 contestants to enjoy. They're incredibly soggy now due to the rain, but this is what happens when you have no arms.

So you're probably wondering what this has to do with Christmas. Well, Sage Candle definitely has it rough, but she's still thankful for all the positives in her life; Her job, being able to afford essentials, and the opportunity to compete and meet new people in Object Wars. Spending time with those that you love... isn't that what Christmas is all about?
