I really appreciate it. but compared to your cacturn piece, this is so minuscule, the lighting you used makes it look amazing, and the perspective is perfect.

You should try combing through my gallery and looking at my older stuff, seriously. Everybody needs to start somewhere! Heck one time I went to purplekecleon's gallery and looked through all her older work she has up... it was very encouraging to me because I realized that some of my older work is better than her older work, even if she is still worlds ahead of me now. But it just shows we all start from roughly the same place, I mean. Also we all want to improve (I know I do anyway!), definitely! You just gotta keep it up is all!

you're not annoying me at all, but i know what you mean, everyone starts somewhere, i wish i had a tablet because its way too hard drawing with a mouse.
I looked back at you gallery and even your stuff from way back is really good and you've gotten much better.

Oh, well thanks for that! It might help for me to add that I've honestly been drawing ever since I could pick up a pencil, though the stuff you can see in the very back of my gallery *are* my very first digital works ever, I think...

But, I do have to agree with you on the fact that a tablet makes everything much easier... that's definitely true. I'm not sure if you ever read my journals or anything but I honestly got my tablet just a little over a month ago, so the vast majority of the stuff in my gallery (including the Cacturne pic) was done with a mouse. I can certainly sympathize as such and it does take a lot more patience, but you can still do some really great things if you're willing to put in the time and effort!

Absolutely, and believe me if you just try to draw at least a little bit everyday (whether it's on the comp, in a sketchbook or whatever), and practice hard as much as you can it will happen. Best of luck to you dude, I'll be here to give you all the encouragement I can too, haha!

Oh well thank you! I mean, you certainly don't have to but you're quite welcome for the encouragement all the same... I just know I've had my own ups and downs with art over the years and sometimes it can be hard to keep the faith haha. XD But again, totally welcome my pleasure!
