Cyberpunk vs Steampunk http:www.threedy.com low poly modelling competition 12 entry concept art.An update of the previous image with pretty much final designs.
/me likes the fibre optic glowing hair tips - Can't wait to start texturing those glow maps.

The pose was based of a tiny thumbnail sketch I did in the early concept phase, where I drew the hand at least 3 times larger than it should have been. I like the feeling of it and decided to try to get that in the final version.
As for the fibre optic hair, while painting it in dark it looked too bland so I was adding lighting from the lights on the chest strap/jacket thing and liked the look of it, painted a lot more light, and so fibre optic hair came to be.
Come to think of it Masamune Shirow used a form of hair implants in Ghost in the Shell 2: Man Machine Interface that enabled he hair to change colour and length, also the hair could filter out the oxygen in the water when diving to enable the character (Motoko Aramaki) to breath underwater.

She's not going to be a sneaky ninja with all those glowing things
There's a couple of minor things I see but heck, I don't spend much time on concept sketches either though I should.

Well, I didn't design her to be sneaking around.
The brief said a street war, so I imagined her at the front lines charging ahead. She does have a nanomist shield system that should stop most projectiles hitting her.
