Lovely work. . . If you took this to silhouette I think you'd lose too much. If she was completely silhouetted against the window that would be different.

Well, first of all I love the simplicity created by the light. It comes from the window so you can't see what is outside. That little trick makes sure that the main object, the charming lady, is the major part of the picture. Another excellent detail is how she's bend over the chair, her face towards the window as if she was trying to see through the light.
I really love her position. It's true that it's a lot used position and maybe not that original but suits her well. She's got an amazing body. She looks smooth and trained but not too slim like most of the "good models" these days. I love the curve of her back and well, I got to say this, she's got one amazing ass.
Also, the chair fits into this picture perfectly. The tones of the chair are pretty much the same used with the window and the floor. The fact that it's not just an empty chair and there's a pillow, makes it easier to visualize and imagine the situation is actually true. It gives it the kind of a dream-like look. By choosing a green pillow (as it seems) the tones of brown are very nicely highlit.
I think those are the main points I thought about when looking at the picture. There are some grainy parts in the picture that may distract some people but I personally find them appropriate to the subject. I would've lost the shoes she's wearing and asked her to pose bare feet. That would've brought more tenderness to the picture.
With shoes or without, the picture is fascinating.

Thank you very much for the sweet comments! Appreciated! Well, I was never plan to shoot this photo or even the rest of it. It happened very spontaneously between the model who is my fiancee and I when we were on vacation.
The Location are actually the hotel we were staying and I was looking out the window and suddenly I thought of photography. You were right about the overall set up. Everything were prop up nicely from setting and color coordinations. That's why it hit me! About the heels, I do agree. Heeless will be more sensual. I think it's my own fantasy tho. hehehe...

I also took a look at evonne6 and evonne7 . Very beautiful. I love the softness in evonne6 and the colours of evonne7. They truly are incredible pictures. Incredible series.
You're so lucky to have someone who agrees on to be photographed. All I seem to have is myself. I've got this one, gorgeous friend who I'd love to take pictures of but unfortunately she can't follow my directions nor can she do all the things I would love her to do. I am, however, looking forward to my summer vacation. I am sure that while in Paris, I'll find someone who'll be willing to model for me, hehe
