Screwattack is a joke when it comes to the more hyped deathbattles. Seriously, they let Ratchet use stuff that wasn't part of the bio and forced Jak to mostly just use his basic colored eco abilities instead of the more advanced ones. It was completely fixed.

ratchet wins easily.
as others said, better weaponry.. armor, time manipulation.. clank can transform also in other things, like mobility that lets him dodge or escape jack if ratchet gets low hp.

Ratchet. Β He carries a much better arsenal, (and that's NOT counting any R.Y.NO.) has better armor and defense, and is much faster than Jak using his jet boots. Β Also, Clank has those time manipulation bombs, and if he turns into Giant Clank, then the battles won.

Exactly. The only thing Jak's got on Ratchet are his eco powers, and if he wins, it'll be because of that. Still, they require a lot of stamina to maintain, and Ratchet's arsenal and armor could easily outlast it. The only way I can see Jak winning is if Screwattack dicks Ratchet out of 90% of his extensive selection of weapons and gadgets to keep it "fair". We all know he's killed tougher things than Jak before, WITHOUT the increased mobility and Time manipulation afforded to him by Clank. Plus, Daxter's useless.
