I really like this photograph, it is, of course a great shot that is hard to achieve at all, but the composition is also very good - the dark background makes the lion stand out (especially its mane, which I like a lot here, its structure is very well captured) and the lion has a beautiful pose. The (nearly) blank area to the right of the lion is a nice detail, it gives the lions gaze more depth and brings its head into golden section (or close to that).
Usually, I do not like frames too much, but this one is subtle and emphasizing the picture without distracting from it.
The only this that I would criticize is the tone of the image - it's too yellow in my opinion, which makes the grass loose some of its contour.
But that is only a minor detail, over all I think you did an amazing job photographing this animal in a natural environment.
