My PC took 50 hours to compute this short animation. Amazing, huh? Can you imagine what it would take to create a complete movie? Respect to all those guys who actually produce these.

I don't dare. If the computer stalls, I have to do it all again. But in this case I did in three parts. Makes it safer ...

A little trick...
When you want to do the final render of a long animation dont use the AVI format output, use the Image files one and save them in your HD somewhere. After its done you can use any video making program to turn them into the animation. I use Adobe After Effects for that, but I think you can even use VirtualDub (Which is free). In this manner you can interrupt the rendering process at any point (voluntarily or not) and you only have to resume from the frame you left off.
